The bed was unbelievably comfy, definitely one of the best on our 12-day trip. The hotel was spotless, and having a pool was a game-changer, as it was the only one we found. The location, nestled in a beautiful residential area, added to the charm, even though it's a bit away from food and town. We can't wait to return if we're ever in the area again.

I liked everything. I stayeed the NYE night. Breakfast was served until 1 pm officially but the 2 very friendly ladies at the breakfast room made an excpetion. Very kind staff , nice Building and location. Would stay again.

The rooms were spacious and had a bathtub, which was exactly what we wanted. The breakfast spread was mind-blowing, with so many options to choose from. Even though there was no AC, keeping the windows open made the room nice and cool. The location was great, just a short walk to a beautiful park and a short distance from the city center. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The bed was super comfortable, the pool was a great addition, and we enjoyed unwinding in the relaxed residential area. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Outstanding food - well composed, fresh ingredients, well presented. Service slightly aloof. The rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was offered with plenty of variety and is served until 10:30 in the morning.

While few hotels of this nature and age are air conditioned in Europe, our request for a fan during the few hot days was met with a resounding 'don't have', we ended up buying one. Because there were a number of stairs to be negotiated with our luggage we would have liked some assistance. While we were met outside the hotel on arrival, no assistance was offered and it was up to us to carry the suitcases up one floor to reception and then down one floor to the room.

We visited this place during a trip and we loved it! The location is perfect, nestled in a beautiful garden in a quiet residential area. The hotel is surrounded by nature, making it a tranquil retreat just outside the city centre. The staff was friendly and professional, adding to the first-class atmosphere.

Quiet location and still near the city - walking distance to the city centre is around 20 min.

The breakfast buffet is good but to expensive (17 Euro per person). The menu selection in the restaurant is too small and too expensive. But there are a choice of restaurants at the seaside with far more resonable prices (also serving breakfast). The pool could be a bit warmer.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide range of choices. , the room was great and we had a wonderful view of the nearby park. Location-wise, it was perfect, as we were a short walk from both the harbor and the city center.

our room was quite hot, but there was no air conditioning and the windows didn't provide much ventilation. it was a disappointing Easter stay.

We loved the hotel's location in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the city centre, surrounded by beautiful gardens and parks. The hotel facilities were clean, and parking was free. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff and the excellent breakfast.

Nothing not to love.

The location of this hotel is simply mind-blowing, with its beautiful park surroundings and upscale residential setting. The luxurious rooms and spacious bathrooms provided a jaw-dropping experience. Not to mention the free parking, which is always a plus. The breakfast at the restaurant was super delicious and the atmosphere was first class. The cosy bar with a fireplace added a nice touch to the whole experience. The staff were extremely professional and the hotel's quiet location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hotel even had a pool, which was a rare find during our 12-day trip. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better stay and we will definitely be coming back if we're ever in the area again.

Limited staff availability and slow response to requests. Thin and uncomfortable bedding.

The hotel's history dates back to 1859, giving it a touch of class. The spa area is small but exquisite, perfect for a relaxing retreat. The hotel's location in a park-like garden by the Kiel Fjord is a delightful escape.

The only downside was the lack of decent gluten-free options in the restaurant.
